Beginning Wednesday, May 30th, Unlimited High School and Unlimited JV will kick off 5 weeks of Church in the Park. We will be cooking out, doing Fear Factor Style games, and talking about different aspects of the FEARS we face as students. The Park is located at 89th and Chicago Ave. We will meet next to the tennis courts. Parents can drop off their kids at 6:30 and pick them up by 9:00.

No Saturday Service during the Summer
During the summer months, there will be no Saturday night service. We invite you to join us at our Sunday services at 9 and 11 am. Our last Saturday night service will be on May 19th and we will resume these services on September 8th.

On Sunday, June 3rd, the Lubbock Dream Center will be hosting a canned food drive and afternoon of music! Bring some cans of food and enjoy the music of The Wise Guys, Alabaster Jar, SOG (Sons of God), Southern Wind, and the COTR Worship Team. Camp Eagle- Grades 8-12- June 24th-30th- Cost $350

More than just an ordinary summer camp, Camp Eagle is a 1400 acre adventure camp. While beauty and adventure draw many to the camp, it’s the “extreme” Bible-based curriculum and relationships that leave a lasting impact on their lives. Camp Eagle is set on 1400 acres in the foothills of the Texas Hill Country. Activities include a kayaking, swimming, water zip line, a 180 foot drop for rock climbing, rappelling, and much more. SMI Elementary Camp “Glow”- Grades 2-5- June 8th-10th- Cost $130

The Elementary students will be going to Camp Chaparral near Wichita Falls for a fun and exciting weekend. This year the theme is “GLOW” (Go Light Our World), and students will learn how they can be a bright light full of Jesus in a dark world. The Discovery class is for those who are desiring to better understand the unique gift that God has created them to be and how He has planned for you to help build and expand His Kingdom. In this class, we explore your personalities, your experiences, and your gifting; and help you come to an understanding of why God made you the way you are. In Discovery, you will learn how your unique calling to the body of Christ can be best utilized at COTR, and how YOU have a part in building and expanding God’s Kingdom. Finally, this is a class in which relationships can continue to grow and develop and each person begins to understand what it means to take ownership of the church.

The Journey class is for those who have recently entered into a relationship with Jesus Christ or who are fairly new to Church on the Rock. This class allows you to see what COTR believes, why we believe it, and what we believe is vital to enhancing our walk with Christ. Journey provides a wonderful opportunity for you to meet others who are fairly new to our body and begin developing healthy relationships. This class will give you a glimpse into our great history, our wonderful present, and our exciting future. If you would like more information about COTR and to further your walk with Christ, then Journey is for you. Upon completion of the class, we look forward to you becoming an active member of COTR.

Journey is a six-week class that meets on Wednesday nights at 7 pm. The next six week session begins on Wednesday, May 23rd
